Police reports in the city of Albuquerque, N.M., may be obtained in person by stopping by any of the police substations between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The six substations include the Foothills (12800 Lomas NE), Northeast (8201 Osuna NE), Northwest (10401 Cibola Loop NW), Southeast (800 Louisiana SE), Southwest (6404 Los Volcanes NW) and Valley (5408 2nd St. NW) area commands.
If the police report involved a traffic accident, the report may be purchased online through LexisNexis for a fee. Consumers must first create an account and can locate the report by entering a report number, their first and last name and the date of the incident or their first and last name and the street where the incident occurred. Traffic accident reports are also available by stopping by the Law Enforcement Center at 400 Roma NW.
Each of the six substations is headed by a commander and staffed with police department employees that provide general information to walk-in visitors and respond to telephone inquiries.
