According to Houzz, shades of green and yellow as well as many neutral colors match plum, depending on the shade of plum chosen. Plum is a reddish purple and can range from a deep purple to a bright hue.
Several shades of green, especially chartreuse, sage, light greenish-blue and olive, look great with plum. Marigold or ocher may also match a particular plum shade. For a more subtle color combination, go with a dark beige, white, cream, metallic gold or a gray with a blue undertone. Plum can also be paired with other shades of purple by coordinating lighter hues with darker.
