What Is the Coke Rewards Program?

The Coke Rewards program, called My Coke Rewards and abbreviated MCR, is a customer loyalty marketing program that The Coca-Cola Company sponsors. Customers can enter codes that appear on specially marked packages of Coca-Cola products to earn virtual points and redeem prizes and sweepstakes entries.

The company launched the My Coke Rewards program in February 2006 and has extended it for nine years, with the current extension lasting until Dec. 31, 2015. Customers can enter codes online at MyCokeRewards.com to start collecting points.

Coca-Cola has partnered with companies such as Dunkin’ Donuts, Southwest Airlines, and AMC Theatres to encourage program participation. Customers can redeem points for a variety of prizes, such as personalized Coke bottles, digital music download codes, a $10 Nike e-gift card code, and photo prints from Shutterfly. Sweepstakes include groceries for a year, meet-and-greets with celebrities such as Taylor Swift, and a $500 Visa gift card.

To participate in the My Coke Rewards program, sign up on the Coca-Cola website and follow the prompts to enter codes. Codes are found on Coke product packaging, such as lids, labels and boxes. The points are accumulated and are redeemable for a variety of rewards including free products, activities and donations to charity. Participants can also earn status points that qualify them to receive more valuable rewards.
