As of 2013, Coach products are made in 16 different locations in the United States, Europe and Asia. A small Coach factory remains in New York City at the company’s headquarters for the manufacture of sample and prototype products.
The leather used for Coach products is sourced from the United States and Europe, then shipped to manufacturing facilities for assembly. Licensed Coach products, such as Movado watches, footwear, fragrances and eye wear are not produced by Coach and are manufactured by the licensee company. Estee Lauder manufactures Coach fragrances, Jimlar Corporation manufactures Coach shoes, and Luxottica manufactures Coach eyeglasses and sunglasses.
