How Do You Check Your SNAP Application Status?
Last Updated Mar 27, 2020 5:42:39 AM ET
Check your SNAP application status by calling your state's EBT customer service number. A list of phone numbers for each state's SNAP program is available through FNS.USDA.gov.
To find the appropriate number, visit the FNS.USDA.gov home page, and place your cursor over Programs. On the drop-down menu that appears, click on Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) link. Click on State Hotline Numbers under the Applicants and Recipients heading. Use the phone number for your state to check your application's status.
Each state has its own SNAP application form. Certain states offer online SNAP services, including an online application. For those that don't, contact a local SNAP office to request a form.
