To check your food stamp status, call the EBT customer service line for your state, or visit your state’s EBT website. Each state’s EBT customer service number and website is listed on the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service website.

  1. Search for your state on the USDA Food and Nutrition Service website

The USDA Food and Nutrition Service website has a list of states that offer online access to EBT account information. Search for your state’s website in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program section of the website.

  2. Set up an online account

If your state provides online access to EBT account information and you haven’t already done so, set up an account on the state’s website. Once your account is set up, log in to check your food stamp application status or other account-related information.

  3. Call your state’s local EBT customer service number

If your state does not offer online access, the EBT customer service numbers are listed on the USDA Food and Nutrition Service website. Call your state’s customer service line to check the status of your food stamp application or account. Prior to calling you need to know your EBT card number, or your Social Security number if you do not have an EBT card.
