How Do You Check Your Balance on the Amazon Store Card?

To check the balance on an Amazon store card, log into your Amazon card account on Synchrony Bank. This account is used to make one-time and recurring payments, view billing statements and check the statement due date. To create a Synchrony Bank account for the first time after signing up for an Amazon store card, log into Synchrony with the full credit card number on the peel-off card mailed to you by Amazon.

If the full credit card number is unavailable, contact Synchrony Bank’s telephone customer service. There are separate lines for consumers, business accounts and corporate accounts. Synchrony Bank’s customer service representatives can look up the account number needed to create an online account. Amazon usernames and passwords are not valid for logging into store card accounts.

Customers can also make payments and check balances via telephone. Synchrony Bank may charge fees for services provided by its telephone customer service line. Amazon recommends performing these tasks online.

Synchrony Bank accepts one-time payments for Amazon store cards through U.S. mail. Customers must enclose the remittance slip from the monthly statement. There is no additional fee to pay an Amazon card balance through the mail. This payment must be mailed to Synchrony’s address for Amazon card payments. Amazon cannot process card payments.
