How Do You Change Languages on MSN?
You can change the language of your MSN Hotmail account by adjusting the account settings. Language is determined by the account holder, not the computer or server. If you find your email is being delivered in another language it’s because you are either logged in under another name or you have a localized version of Hotmail in your browser.
-
Log in, and go to the inbox
Log on to your Hotmail account, and go to your inbox. Find the “options” menu near the top right corner of the page. If you’re not familiar with the language that is currently showing on the screen, you may have to find the foreign terms for “options” as well as for “customizing Hotmail” and “language.”
-
Check your account settings
Click on “options,” and then choose “more options.” In the second column, you’ll see an option for “customizing Hotmail.” Click on “language.” When the “language” screen opens, the current language will be selected. Choose your preferred language by clicking on the button to the left of the language.
-
“Save” and check your settings
Scroll down to the bottom of the “language” screen, and hit “save.” Back-click to return to the “options” screen. If you have been successful, the instructions on the “options” page as well as the name of your preferred language will be shown in the language of your choice.
