As of 2015, some cold cereals that are suitable for diabetics are Cascadian Farm Organic Purely O’s, Kellogg’s FiberPlus Antioxidant Cinnamon Oat Crunch, Kellogg’s Special K Cinnamon Pecan and Post Grape-Nuts Flakes, reports Diabetic Living. These cereals were approved by nutritionists and taste-tested by 100 people, including people with diabetes.
Each of these cereals have less than 150 calories per serving and contain no trans fat. They also have 1 gram or less of saturated fat and less than 8 grams of sugar, notes Diabetic Living. Cereals that contain whole grains and little added sugar are the best option for people with diabetes, states WebMD.
