What Does the Cellphone Code PPS 6180 Mean?

The cellphone code PPS 6180 is a code that displays when a customer’s balance has reached $0. This code is displayed in conjunction with prepaid accounts.

A prepaid phone, also known as a pay-as-you-go, pay-as-you-talk or pay and go, is a cellphone which is usable once a credit for a set amount of time is purchased from a mobile phone service provider. The amount of credit purchased dictates the amount of cellphone access that be granted. Once the user hits the limit, the mobile phone service provider will deny access to its service until more credit is purchased. During times when the user has no credit left on his or her account, the mobile phone service provider will play a recording that is embedded with the PPS 6180 code.
