Klondike Solitaire, Canfield Solitaire and Beehive Solitaire are all card games one person can play. There are many card games for one player.
Klondike Solitaire is the most popular and well-known solitaire game, played with seven piles of overturned cards, the topmost card on each pile placed face-up. The object of the game is to build up piles of each of the four suits, in order, from Ace to King. Canfield is another popular version. Klondike and Canfield are often confused for each other, but are in fact two different games. Canfield is played with a stock pile and a varying number of foundation piles onto which the cards are built. Beehive Solitaire consists of playing a stockpile of cards called the beehive onto six layout piles called, collectively, the flower garden. The player attempts to arrange cards by suit in the flower garden.
