The vehicle identification number (VIN) on Suzuki motorcycles, which are manufactured by the Suzuki Motor Corporation, can be found stamped directly on the cycle's frame, near the steering head or on an attached VIN decal or identification plate.
Suzuki motorcycle VINs can also be found on the cycle's purchase invoice, certificate of title, state vehicle registration and insurance and bank documents. VINs for all motorized vehicles contain a unique combination of 17 uppercase letters and numbers that identify its manufacturer, model, production date and identifying attributes. To avoid confusion with numerals 1 and 0, the letters I, O and Q are never used in VINs.
