How Can I Sign in to Windows Live Hotmail?
As of 2014, you can sign in to your Windows Live Hotmail account by using a computer and browser to access any Microsoft email domain. In 2013, Microsoft consolidated its email services under the Outlook brand, so all of the company’s email domains redirect to one hub.

Go to Microsoft’s webmail portal
Use an Internet-connected computer or other device and a browser, such as Internet Explorer, Chrome or Firefox, and navigate to live.com. Alternatively, go to hotmail.com. As of 2014, all Microsoft email domain names automatically redirect to the live.com webmail portal.

Enter your account information
Enter your Windows Live Hotmail email address and password into the form fields. Check the Keep Me Signed In box if you are on a private device and want to stay logged into your account.

Click the Sign In button
If you can’t remember your password, click on the Can’t Access Your Account link to retrieve it. Otherwise, click the Sign In button to go to your Windows Live Hotmail inbox. If you haven’t accessed your account since Microsoft consolidated its services under the Outlook brand, you may be prompted to verify your account. Microsoft sends a single-use code to the alternate email listed on your profile. Once you receive it, click the Sign In With a Single-use Code link to regain access to your account.
