A customer with a Safeway Club Card who cannot find the card but wishes to retrieve the number may call the Safeway customer care line at 1-877-723-3929, as of 2014. A customer service representative can then find the number based on the customer’s information.
A Safeway Club Card holder can still access the store’s relevant discounts if the card is forgotten at home by using the phone number associated with the account at the point of sale. This easy way of accessing the discount without the card, however, is open to abuse and also exposes the cardholder’s personal information to potential abuse.
