As of 2015, Temptooth is available for purchase at Temptooth.com and Stores.Temptooth.com. The kit sells for about $30 and includes instructions and enough material to make approximately 10 teeth. A patient missing a tooth can create a temporary replacement until visiting a dentist, according to Temptooth.
The cosmetic tooth product entered the market in 2009. Independent laboratory tests found the material safe for use in the mouth; it is non-toxic and biodegradable, states Temptooth. Special tools are not needed to create or insert the temporary tooth, but there must be teeth on both sides, to stabilize and support it. Temptooth ships orders within 24 hours and accepts international orders. Orders of two kits or more receive a discount.
