Accu-Chek meter error codes typically include the letter “E” and a number or graphic, according to Accu-Chek. Some meters may display “ERR.” Reasons for error codes include an insufficient amount of blood on the test strip, an unacceptable operating temperature and damaged test strips. Errors also occur if the user does not perform the steps of the testing process in the correct order.
