Can Nair Be Used on Your Head?
Since Nair is a hair remover, it can technically be used to remove hair from the head. However, this is not the product’s primary use. Nair works by using strong chemicals to dissolve the hair, which is then washed away.
Using Nair on the head has more potential to work if the hair is very short, similar to the length of leg hair. It is important to note that the chemicals from this product can cause irritation, red bumps or rashes or otherwise affect sensitive skin. This product is for external use only and should not enter your eyes, nose or mouth.
Nair hair removal products offer an alternative to shaving. The company’s creams and sprays use a chemical formulation to dissolve the hair so that users can wipe it away, and waxes remove the hair from the root using strips or a roll-on formula. Both of these methods result in smoother, hair-free skin for a longer time than shaving. Depilatory creams and waxes are often more effective at removing hair from sensitive areas, such as the bikini line and the face. Nair has products that are specially formulated for those areas.
