The U.S. Army Reserve provides lists of units for each command at its official website. Each command has its own page and lists its units in the sidebar. The pages also provide information on the history, leadership, mission and current news for each command.
The U.S. Army Reserve is a part-time military branch that the Army and Joint Forces Command can mobilize in times of war or for peacetime disaster relief. The branch trains reserve soldiers in a variety of areas, including aviation, engineering, medicine, communications and logistics. Some types of units, including theater engineer commands, civil affairs commands, maneuver support and sustainment, and biological-agent defense units, exist only in the Army Reserve and not the full-time Army branch.
