One of the most in-depth features about Gabriel Swaggart's infamous grandfather, Jimmy Swaggart, was released by People magazine in an article titled "The Fall of Jimmy Swaggart." Another was later penned by Digital Journal titled "Televangelist Jimmy Swaggart Making a Comeback with Network."
Jimmy Swaggart was an evangelical television minister who sold more than 150 million gospel records before a private investigation discovered that he had been soliciting prostitutes at a pickup strip on the outskirts of New Orleans. He was caught with another prostitute three years later. Nearly 25 years later, he returned to television with his own network, working with his son Donnie and grandson Gabriel.
