How Can I Get a California DMV Printout Online?
To get a California driver record printout from the DMV online, simply visit the California DMV website, register and request your driver record, then pay online. You need access to the Internet and your personal information in order to register. You also need a bank account, a debit card or a major credit card.

Access the California DMV website
Go to the California DMV website and click on the Online Services menu. Scroll down until you find the Driver Record Request and click on the link. This takes you to the page that details options for ordering a driver record and explains that the driver record printed online is not official. A certified driver record can only be obtained through the mail.

Create a user account
The Driver Record Request page requires that you become a certified user in order to print out your driver record. Click on the Certified User link found in the page. This link leads to a user information form where you are required to fill in personal information such as a name, date of birth and the last four of your social security number. Click Register once you have filled this form out completely.

Pay for your record
Upon registering, you can go back to the Driver Record Request page and click continue. You have the option of paying with a bank account, a major credit card or a debit card.
