Jackson’s Lemon Jumble cookies are no longer produced commercially or available for sale, as of 2015. The company is now owned by Kellogg, who acquired the cookie line from Keebler sometime around 2001. Kellogg discontinued the southern favorite soon after taking ownership of the company.
Jackson’s Old Fashioned Lemon Jumbles, sometimes called “jumbos” by fans, were flavored with natural lemon, resulting in a slightly tart and lightly sweetened butter crisp. The cookies gained popularity in the mid 1980s. Fans of the original cookie have written to Kellogg asking for the cookies to be brought back, but there have been no reports of plans to do so.
