Where Are Bridgestone Tires Made?

Bridgestone tires are produced by the Bridgestone Group which, as of April 2013, has more than 180 manufacturing plants in 25 countries across the globe, according to the Bridgestone corporate website. Locations include the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Oceania and its home country of Japan.

New Bridgestone tires are currently manufactured at 48 plants around the world. Afurther 28 plants carry out tire-related work, such as retreading worn aircraft tires. Raw materials are processed at 19 plants, and the remaining locations are known as “diversified product plants.” The Bridgestone Group also operates five technical centers and ten proving grounds in various global locations. The company was founded in the city of Kurume, Japan, in 1931.
