What Is a Blueberry Phone?
The Blueberry cellular phone is a smartphone by Spice Mobile that features a 2.6-inch color display, a music player, messaging system, organizer and 2 megapixel camera. This Bluetooth-enabled device is equipped with a camcorder, digital zoom, night mode and the capability for Internet browsing, according to PhoneArena.
Other features of the Blueberry phone include SIM card slots for additional memory, 0.0069 GB built-in storage, 3.30 hours of talk-time battery life and silent and vibration modes. Users can take advantage of the speakerphone capabilities of the Blueberry phone as well. Although the Blueberry devices, specifically the Blueberry Aura by Spice Mobile, offer common features of a smartphone, they do lack the advanced technology often found in popular models, such as the Blackberry or iPhone. According to PhoneArena, the Blueberry has a low pixel density screen at only 154 ppi. In addition, the Blueberry lacks built-in Wi-Fi, camera flash and camera auto focus. The device also does not come equipped with a headphone jack and lacks an ambient light sensor to automatically adjust the brightness of the screen. It does, however, come equipped with a Qwerty keyboard for easy text messaging, notetaking, e-mail responses and social media postings and has a stand-by time of 23.3 days.
