The most common wall height for homes in the United States is 8 feet. Some luxury homes have walls that are 9 or 10 feet high, while some older homes have walls only 7 feet high.
Like traditional houses, most manufactured homes have 8-foot ceilings, although many have the option of either 7-foot 6-inch ceilings or 9-foot ceilings. In countries where the metric system is used, such as the United Kingdom, the most commonly found wall height in houses is 2.4 meters (approximately 7 feet 10.5 inches), though newly built homes in these countries may have ceilings which are 2.55 meters, 2.7 meters, or even 3 meters high.
