Last Updated Apr 1, 2020 10:32:37 PM ET

The average dimensions of a standard kitchen oven are 36 inches high by 30 inches wide. The depth is usually 25 inches, not including the door handle. The standard width for wall ovens is either 24, 27 or 30 inches.
Ovens come standard at 36 inches high and 25 inches deep in order to fit flush with the standard kitchen counter height. Sometimes, however, apartments or tiny kitchens require ovens that take up less space. In that case, ranges can be purchased at just 20 inches wide. Commercial-grade, specialty stoves for the home are generally available at 36, 48 and 60 inch widths.
