Verizon does not offer a landline phone plan but instead offers wireless home phone services that use Verizon’s wireless network with plans starting at $20 a month, as of 2015. Verizon offers number portability for plan customers switching from traditional landline service to Verizon’s home phone service.
With Verizon’s MORE Everything Plan, customers get unlimited minutes on one home phone for $20 per month for calls made to U.S. numbers. Verizon provides the customer with an analog telephone adapter, and the customer plugs a home phone into the adapter to make calls. The device is free with a two-year contract for home phone service.
