Ashanti, 35, does not have any children. An R&B singer, actress and model, Ashanti was the first female recording artist to have three tracks in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously.
After meeting in 2003, Ashanti dated rapper Nelly for about 10 years. While the two did not have children together, Nelly has four children including a niece and nephew whom he adopted after the passing of his sister.
Ashanti’s first album was released in 2002. In addition to her success in the recording industry, Ashanti has had numerous film and television roles. An eight-time Grammy nominee, she received the award for Best Contemporary R&B Album in 2003.
