Ajinomoto salt is also known as monosodium glutamate, commonly referred to as MSG, and it is a type of sodium salt that has been linked to various adverse reactions. This type of salt is commonly used in Chinese food dishes and numerous other applications, like barbecue sauces and various frozen and canned foods.
MSG is widely used because its a popular flavor additive for all kinds of foods and dishes. Its chemical properties allow it to be mixed to regular table salt, reducing the sodium content while still maintaining the flavor. There are numerous side effects associated with the consumption of MSG. However, there are no studies that prove these adverse reactions are being caused directly by the consumption of MSG.

The salt is also very acidic, so people may experience of feeling of burning in their throat or stomach. People can also experience heart palpitations and tightness in the chest. People also have been found to experience numbness in the face or a sense of being flushed.
