For a 65th birthday party, guests may enjoy playing games such as “Guess Who” “The Invention Game,” “Name That Tune” and “The Price Is Right.” The game “Smile Toss” is apt to bring quite a few grins as well.

To play “Guess Who,” ask each guest to provide a childhood photograph of themselves. Identify each photo with a number and provide the guests with a list of every player’s name. Players guess which number belongs to what person by writing the number next to a name.

For “Name That Tune,” a musician or recording plays three notes of a song popular in the 1920s, 1930s or any other decade. To celebrate the birthday honoree, use music from her generation. Guests call out the title or next line from the song, if possible. If no one identifies it, three more notes are played, and the process repeats until someone guesses correctly.
