Start by locating and detaching the carburetor from the governor. Turn the bolts that hold the carburetor in place clockwise if you want to increase the speed of your vehicle. Turning them anti-clockwise reduces the tension that reduces the vehicle’s top speed. Allow direct flow of power from the gas pedal to the carburetor by detaching the gas pedal cable from the carburetor and reattaching it to where you unplugged the original governor cable. Locate cable nuts holding the cable to the throttle lever and adjust the main cable nut in place using a screwdriver. Turn the nut anti-clockwise to elongate the cable, thus increasing the speed of the cart. You can reduce your vehicle’s speed by turning the nut clockwise.
