How Do You Activate the Two-Player Mode on “The Warriors” Game for PS2?

The story mode of “The Warriors” for PlayStation 2 can be played by two people cooperatively. There are also a number of multiplayer modes that are available right from the beginning of the game.

At any point in the story mode, a second player can join in and take control of one of the Warriors. The second player is also free to leave at any time by reassigning control of his Warrior to the computer. When the second player is in the game, the screen can be split into two permanently, or the “tethered camera” option can be chosen which merges the screens back together when the two players are close to each other.

Rumble Mode is also designed for two people to play. This mode allows each player to control one of the game’s gangs and either fight it out for superiority or try to be the first to accomplish a range of selectable objectives, such as being the first to steal a number of items. Rumble Mode is available immediately, but new characters and arenas can be unlocked for it in the game’s other modes of play.

The “Armies of the Night” side-scrolling mini-game is the only two-player mode in the game that needs to be unlocked. This is done by completing the flashback levels.
