Logging into a Gmail account is a straightforward process. Enter “gmail.com” into your address bar, and type in your Google user name and password information to access your Gmail inbox.

Enter your log-in information
Type your Gmail address into the box marked “Email.” Enter your password into the following box. If you have forgotten your password, click the “Need Help?” link and follow the prompts that appear.

Once you click “Sign in,” your Gmail inbox will appear.

Log out if necessary
If you have logged in on a shared computer, such as one at a library, you should always log out of your account before leaving. To log out, click on the icon next to your name in the top right corner of the page. Click “Sign Out” in the bottom right corner of the box that appears to log out of your account.
