How Do You Find Pictures to Identify Dog Skin Problems?
Find pictures to help identify dog’s skin problems on the Dog Health Guide or and Pets WebMD.com. There are additional websites that describe the skin disorders and treatments but do not have pictures of the skin disorders.
The Dog Health Guide site has a list of topics on the left side of the homepage. Choose Skin and Coat and click on Skin Overview from the drop down menu. The page opens with a summary and overview of skin conditions and treatments. Continue down the page for a written description followed by pictures of the actual skin condition. The articles also describe where on the body the condition usually occurs, the cause and the treatment. Following the photos, the article lists various breeds of dogs, skin ailments common to that breed and the recommended treatment.
On the Pets WebMD site, select the For Dog Lovers arrow. On the left side of the next page, select number 12, Skin Problems. A slideshow appears exhibiting 19 examples of skin conditions. Select the Next arrow under either the picture or the description box to move to the next example. Next to each photo, there is a box describing the condition, likely causes, behaviors associated with the disorder and the treatment.
