A baby peacock is called a peachick. The name for the male is peacock and the females are peahens.
Peachicks generally feature a tawny and yellow color with dark brown or light tan patches. Peacocks are omnivores; their diet primarily consists of plants, seed heads, parts of flowers, some reptiles, amphibians and arthropods. Peachicks are not picky, when it comes to eating and usually eat ants, seeds and small rodents.
There are two popular species of peacocks, the blue peacock which lives in India and Sri Lanka, and the other species is the green peacock, and they live in Java and Myanmar.
