Why Do Chihuahuas Lick so Much?
A Chihuahua may engage in excessive licking behavior as a form of affection or because of an unresolved health issue. Like most dogs, Chihuahuas use licking as a form of personal expression. Some Chihuahuas develop the habit of excessively licking either people or objects such as furniture.
