A Boudreaux Pit Bull is a sub-breed of Pit Bill that was created by a man named Floyd Boudreaux.
He began raising the breed in the 1930s.
Boudreaux was also known for raising chickens and bird dogs during his life growing up on the farm in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Boudreaux and his son, Guy, were also known for raising fighting dogs and for promoting fights within their Pit Bull bloodline. In 2005, the pair was charged with animal cruelty. They were also charged with the possession of anabolic steroids, which they were administering to the dogs on their property.
The bloodline is sought after because of its deep-rooted history.
