What Is the Biggest Husky?

Husky is sometimes used as a general term for any sled dog. Siberian Huskies weigh anywhere from 35 to 60 pounds and are a medium-large breed dog. However, the Alaskan Malamute looks very similar to the Siberian Husky but is often much larger.

The Alaskan Malamute ranges from 75 pounds to 100 pounds. It is also a sled-dog breed but was used for pulling heavy loads instead of pulling at great speeds like the Husky. The term “Alaskan Husky” is sometimes used to refer to a cross between these two breeds. The outcome is usually a random assortment of traits, and this is not a breed recognized by the AKC.
