There are multiple species of red roses with many different scientific names. The most common type of bright red rose is known as "Rosa Macdub," and is a climbing rose that can reach a height of up to 12 feet.
The scientific names of some other species of red roses are: "Rosa beauty secret," which is a cherry red miniature bush rose; "Rosa Blaze," a red climbing rose; and "Rosa the dark lady," which is also a red climbing rose. Additionally, "Rosa hybrid tea" roses feature an intense fragrance and come in a variety of different colors, including red. These roses grow more quickly than other varieties and have large and lasting flowers.
