In the grocery store, find chia seeds in the bulk area, the natural foods section or the aisle in the packaged goods section where beans, rice and other whole grains are sold. A few grocery stores stock chia seeds in the supplement section with vitamins and nutrient drinks.
Chia seeds are small white or black seeds. In the bulk food section, scoop your own, and place them in a plastic bag or plastic container for purchase. In other sections of the store, look for them in plastic bags often with a resealable top. Use chia seeds in puddings or smoothies, or sprinkle them on top of salads or cereals.
