Whirlpool is an American multinational manufacturer that makes home appliances in the United States in locations such as Amana, Iowa; Cleveland, Tenn.; Tulsa, Okla.; and five in Ohio: Ottawa, Marion, Greenville, Findlay and Clyde. All eight of Whirlpool’s manufacturing plants are located within the United States.

Individual appliances by Whirlpool are made in specific facilities throughout the U.S. For example, Whirlpool makes its Maytag Maxima and Bravo Washers and dryers in Clyde, Ohio and Marion, Ohio. The Maytag top compartment refrigerators as well as the French door models are made in Amana, while the Resource Saver dishwashers are manufactured in Findlay.
