To update your credit card information on the I-PASS website, you must sign in to your I-PASS account and select the link titled Updated Credit Card, according to Illinois Tollway. MasterCard, VISA, American Express and Discover are accepted for I-PASS account use.
Options for managing your I-PASS account include logging in to your online account, accessing the I-PASS interactive voice response system via telephone, or speaking to a representative at one of the five customer service center locations, indicates Illinois Tollway. Using the voice response system, you can check your I-PASS balance, make changes to your account information, and add money to your account. This service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Customer service centers are open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at each of the center locations.
In addition to using credit cards to add funds to your I-PASS account, you may also use checks, money orders, cash or I-PASS gift cards, states Illinois Tollway. The only way to apply cash to your account is to visit one of the customer service centers. You can send checks and money orders made payable to Illinois Tollway via mail. Gift cards are sold at Jewel-Osco stores.
