As of 2014, Tyson Foods is the top-earning poultry company in the United States, with a reported $34.4 billion in annual sales in 2013. The Brazilian food giant JBS had the next highest earnings at $30.4 billion, followed by Cargill, Smithfield, Sysco, Hormel, ConAgra, National Beef, Keystone Foods and OSI.
This group also comprised the top 10 poultry companies in 2013. Eight of the companies occupied the same spot as in 2014, with Hormel and ConAgra switching positions from 2013 to 2014. As of 2014, Pilgrim's Pride Corporation, purchased by JBS, is the largest poultry producer in the United States and Puerto Rico and the second-largest exporter in Mexico.
