Are Ski-Doo Snowmobiles Manufactured in the United States?

Although Ski-Doo snowmobiles are sold at dealerships throughout the United States, they are not manufactured in the country. Bombardier Recreational Products manufactures Ski-Doo snowmobiles in Quebec, Canada, and ships them worldwide for distribution.

Ski-Doo is a brand of snowmobile manufactured by BRP, which was founded in 1937 by Joseph-Armand Bombardier after he obtained a patent for the first snowmobile. Since then, the company has manufactured over three million snowmobiles at its Valcourt, Quebec, factory. The company officially changed its name from Bombardier, Inc. to Bombardier Recreational Products in 2003. In addition to its many models of snowmobiles, BRP also manufactures Sea-Doo personal watercraft, roadsters (three-wheeled motorcycles) and all-terrain vehicles.
