Where Are Samsung Appliances Made?
As of 2014, Samsung appliances are manufactured in a number of countries in Asia and Eastern Europe. For example, some of its washing machines are built in Poland or China. Most Samsung microwave ovens are manufactured in Malaysia, while its refrigerators are constructed in South Korea, China and Poland.
Samsung Electronics is based in South Korea. It does not manufacture any of its appliances or electronics in the United States.
According to a Dec. 27, 2012, finding by Consumer Reports, Whirlpool is the only major appliance manufacturer that manufacturers its products in the United States. However, Consumer Reports consistently ranks Samsung washing machines highly on both performance and reliability ratings.
