What Is the Salary Range for a "Today Show" Host?
Last Updated Mar 28, 2020 8:58:24 AM ET
The salary range for hosts of the Today show is between $2 million and $20 million per year. Matt Lauer is at the top of the list with $20 million a year. Al Roker makes $7 million a year, and Savannah Guthrie makes $2 million a year.
While Matt Lauer is one of the highest paid TV anchors, the Today Show is not necessarily the highest paying network. Other TV anchors earn more than some of the hosts of the Today Show. For example, Anderson Cooper earns $11 million, Jimmy Fallon earns $11 million, Conan O'Brien earns $12 million, and Brian Williams earns $13 million. These are all annual salaries.
