Some Safeway locations offer a senior discount, but available discounts vary by store. Customers can contact a local Safeway to find out if it offers a senior discount.
Certain locations have a senior day every week, which is the only day when each location offers a senior discount. As of July 2015, the company’s Just for U program offers another way for seniors to save money. The program is available for all Safeway Club members. With the program, a member loads digital coupons onto the Club Card via the Just for U page on Safeway.com or the Just for U smartphone application. Coupons are automatically applied when a shopper uses a Club Card at the checkout.
