What Is an RSA Qualification?

The RSA, or Royal Society of Arts, qualification is a certification of proficiency in professional typing and expertise in word processing. The certification is for secretaries or assistants, professional typists and those whose employment involves a wide range of computerized administrative skills.
The RSA is also refereed to as OCR or OCR (RSA), with OCR standing for Oxford, Cambridge and RSA. Several employers favor a candidate with this qualification because it certifies the person as knowledgeable in the myriad functions and workings of the word processor. Expertise in word processing is an essential prerequisite in many jobs and is required in all forms of business. The RSA qualification is recognized all over the world.
