Sears allows the redemption of their reward points in three ways, which include redeeming the points instantly at Sears stores, applying for a Sears rewards card, and donating points to a local charity or community organization. Rewards are only redeemable in increments of 1,000 points, according to Sears.
Applying for a Sears reward card is easy to do online or by calling the company’s toll-free customer care line, explains Sears. Applications are also available in Sears retail outlet stores. Once 1,000 points accumulate, the participant receives $10 off a purchase of any item sold at Sears or Sears Travel, as of 2015. Points can also be redeemed for gasoline at participating locations.
