The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy provides an e-profile for all verified pharmacies in the country, and a pharmacy’s NABP number is available on the board’s website, NAPB.net. This is part of the board’s Verified Pharmacy Program that facilitates the licensing of pharmacies.
Before a pharmacy is allowed to dispense prescription drugs, it must seek approval from the NAPB to ensure public safety. The NAPB’s verification program also makes it easier for pharmacies to acquire licenses from state regulatory authorities.
