How Does the Petco Pals Rewards System Work?
Petco Pals Rewards members earn 5 percent of purchases in the form of Reward Dollars, which are redeemable at Petco, Unleashed by Petco and Petco.com. When shopping, the member presents the Pals Rewards number so the purchase counts toward the cash back.
Registered members accrue points every purchase. The eligible purchases are automatically tracked in the user’s account. When a customer spends $100 in a single or over multiple purchases, he receives 5 Rewards Dollars via email. If a single purchase totals more than $200, the customer receives 2 certificates each for 5 Rewards Dollars.
The user loads Rewards Dollars to the Pals Rewards card from the emailed certificate or through the online Pals Rewards account. When the user next shops at Petco, Unleashed by Petco or Petco.com, the Rewards Dollars come off of the purchase in increments of $5. If the total is less than the Rewards Dollars balance, remaining Rewards Dollars remain on the card. Rewards Dollars are not available for use until the day after the qualifying purchase.
Petco Pals Rewards members receive other special offers, including a free birthday treat for the pet. The local ad often lists deals only available to Reward members. Petco periodically offers monthly bonuses that increase rewards.
